{A Little Perspective}

We recently lost someone that was closet to my guy. A father, a husband, a pretty sweet being. It was unexpected, heart wrenching and even though he wasn't close to me I sat in tears after hearing the news. Because really how is it fair that someone that deserves so much had his life end so suddenly and early.

Then my mom said it simply, we have to have faith that there is a bigger plan. We have to live life like each day is our last. Say the words we mean, indulge in the little things, surround ourselves with the ones we love and hope that everything we put out into the universe comes back to us. We also have to realize that our lives aren't truly ours, there is a higher power and a bigger plan.

My heart goes out to his family and to all those that knew this sweet man. Excuse me while I take some time to put little perspective into my life {and of course do some baking}.
